Stretched Bronze & Stone Sculptures By Romain Langlois
For more than 15 years French sculptor, Romain Langlois schooled himself in sculpture making. He started off with plaster and clay, but soon he realised that he wanted his art to last, so he switched to stone and bronze. A notion that helped him find his own style and a fan base for his uncommon creations.
The La Côte Martin-based artist merges materials in a unique way, creating the impression of still molten bronze organically bonding with the contrasting stone. The sculptor’s idea is to bring these inanimate materials to life, while taking inspiration from nature and purifying the presentation of used materials to perfection.
