Sweeping the fallen leaves and just throwing them into dumpsters? That wouldn’t fly in the Land of the Rising Sun, where locals are turning foliage into pieces of art.

Japanese have taken it to Instagram to share their awesome pieces of contemporary leaf art. The new trend is called “ochiba art” or “fallen leaf art”, and it’s actually a very cool idea to bring life to those boring sidewalks at no cost at all. (h/t: rocketnews24)
